Ron has been involved in property in the Southern Suburbs for nearly 30 years, as owner of one of Cape Town's oldest and largest estate agencies and now as part of small highly specialized operation. With a Business Science degree in marketing coupled with a passion for property, Ron has based his career and his business on providing “uncommonly good service” to clients while developing long-term relationships. As a result, almost all his sales are as a direct result of referrals and recommendations. As principal of Ron Durbach Properties, Ron involves himself as a “hands on “ agent, as well as offering support to his team, and ensuring that the company continues to combine old-fashioned care and courtesy with the very latest marketing techniques.
Well-known and highly regarded for her expert opinion on the property industry, Tess has been published in several newspapers, periodicals and property websites. She has also made an appearance on radio and CNBC Africa. Her success in the field of property finance as Managing Director of Property Factor, has led Tess to become a finalist in the Business Woman of the Year Regional Achiever Awards in 2004. In 2005, she received a nomination in Cape Time / KPMG personality of the year, editor’s choice awards. In 2007, Tess was made an honorary member of UWC Golden Key Honorary Society. She brings her expertise now into the field of residential sales, believing that through transparency and honesty it is possible to delight both buyers and sellers who she has the privilege of working with.
Herman Leyenar has over 37 years of business experience – with a focus on finance and general management. He has now decided to add Real Estate NQF4 to his long list of qualifications, due to his abiding interest in property both as an owner and investor as well in his role as consultant. He has significant experience in banking, manufacturing, printing, electronic, publishing, business information and hospitals, working in Southern Africa, Western Europe, North America and the Middle East. He relishes assisting with strategic initiatives and effecting change. With excellent analytical skills, Herman is able to resolve problems and turn around situations and brings with him a unique facet to marketing residential property.
